I really enjoyed this story. It’s a sweet story set at Christmas time. The plot is well written & the characters are three dimensional. It grabbed my attention from the first & held it throughout. Milou Koenig conveys a lot of emotion in these short stories.
Oh, that was too short! I wasn't ready to leave them when it ended!
The characters were well done and the story moved well––the pacing was right.

This book is a short sweet and to the point read. But just because it short doesn't mean it lacks. I really enjoyed this fun read. It took some twist and turns and kept you drawn into the story. I really like how this was a good clean read. I loved how even though Loren was a socialite the author had her come across as just a normal every day person. If you are looking for a fun read, grab this book you won't regret it.
After I now have read several books about Green Pines, I am thinking of moving there! I love how the writing has portrayed such a cozy small town feeling.
This loving and caring man (Skunk/Trey) saves the life of a woman (Loren) who became stuck in a snow storm. As the storm raged on they are now stuck together at Trey's house. As they both fall in love with each other we get to read how beautiful it is to fall in love. Not always in a near little package, but falling in love nonetheless
This is a very short, romantic story in the Green Pines series. Loren Delcassian Williams is trying to get to her friend's house for Christmas but a blizzard will detour her arrival. Trey Bennett, a famous author, is driving through the blizzard from his second job as a counselor at Spero House to his home when he discovers Loren's car. There is a lot of chemistry between these two characters but Trey's past and identity may make the spark fizzle before it even began.
The characters are very well developed but I wish the story had been longer. It was just too short. I received a copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
Sweet Blizzard is an enjoyable and interesting story of two people meeting in an unlikely situation during the holiday season. I really liked this short and sweet novella and thought that the author captured a lot of emotions and romantic connection between the two main characters, within a short time span.
I honestly wish this novella had been a little longer, as the ending felt very abrupt to me. I would have loved another chapter or epilogue showing some more connecting between Trey and Loren at the end. However, even desiring a couple more chapters, I personally know from reading other books in the series that readers do get a a peek at Trey and Loren's life together from time to time. Sweet Blizzard is a fun choice for a Christmas read!

Sweet Blizzard by Milou Koenings
Lauren had left the plane but was shaken from the ride.
Story also follows Trey who rescues her from the blizzard. Takes her back to his cabin while he writes his next big book seller while she recuperates.
She's in town for the Black family, who he knows and he's finding himself intrqued by her and disattracting.
Wandering around in town she learns of the fate of the bookstore and library. She learns of other perks and is contemplating a big move on her part.
She's fond of Trey and I love their bantering on book subjects-even the kids ones, some I've yet to read myself.
Blizzard carnival around the town square help the town recoup some financial losses.
Interesting they he had spent time in prison and why...Love that some of the characters from other stories in the series are making appearances here-what a PLUS!
Easy to keep track of charcters, great read! Excerpt and other works by the author are highlighted at the end.
