If you've ever read a book that resonates with you and you want to re-read it again and again, that is what happened with me and this book. Not that I've ever asked a neighbor that I hardly knew to spank me when I neglected my responsibilities, but more than once I've thought that I should be spanked when I've been charged a late fee because I was too lazy (or not paying attention to the due date) to pay a bill on time, and I was upset because I essentially threw my money in the trash. After reading this book twice, I started my own daily chore list and feel very motivated to get everything done....not that my cute college professor neighbor is going to check on my progress later DARN IT! This is just one of those easy reads that struck a note with me and I'm sure it will with other readers. Now I need to get back to my list of chores.....Product details

I have to agree with the other reviewers here who said this story was quirky but memorable. I could totally relate to Katy and her procrastination. What I especially liked about this book was the hero---he seems like your mild mannered history professor but he turns into a tough task master who isn't afraid to turn Katy over his knee and administer the spankings she asked him to give her. They are a cute and likeable couple and I wanted them to live happily ever after.
Be careful what you ask for because she just might get it and realize how much you wish you had kept your mouth shut! Katy found this out the hard way when she asked her nieghbor to help get her life back on tract. Boy was that a mistake, at least that was what she thought at first but in the end it was the best thing that she could have done.
This book has tons of problems.

First It doesn't really have much of a plot, and the plot it has is frankly kind of unrealistic. A young woman decides her life is out of control, and she needs help so she decides to ask her neighbor, a college professor that she has the hots for but hardly knows, to spank her to motivate her. With hardly a blink he complies. (Yes, this happens in MY neighborhood every week.)
Second Our professor knows nothing about spanking so he researches it on the Internet... and promptly turns into a "real" spanker. (Let me say from first hand knowledge of this issue, spankers do not become such by reading a few articles on the Internet.) Within one or two sessions, he's really busting her ass, realistic bare-butt spankings that you don't give a stranger!
Third The book is way way too short!
So why the five star review? Because against all odds, I really loved this little book. The characters are funny, very believable, and I could not put this down - really wanted to know what happened. I absolutely loved the ending as well. It is really well written.
Every once in a while a book just "works" in spite of - on paper - having things that should really hold it back. This is one of those books.
